In the last twelve months, the number of solicitor vacancies across all practice areas in the North West was outweighed by just three support functions.
Legal Executives, Paralegals and Secretarial/PA roles in total, had more vacancies advertised (by law firms only, not recruitment businesses) than every practice area put together.
Within all of the solicitor practice areas, just three when added together had 53% of all vacancies. Those were Litigation/Dispute Resolution, Personal Injury & Real Estate.
When delving a little deeper, Paralegal vacancies alone actually outstripped those three areas.
